Although it is true that the so-called Ukrainians in Bukowina spoke
Ruthenian and not the real Ukrainian language I don't remember whether there
was a particular province called Ruthenia. The language was considered as a
dialect. We used it for communication with domestic servants, peasants
bringing their produce to the markets, or on the streets, etc.

Galicia,maybe,but Bukowina was never Ruthenia as far as I know. C.

Ukraina is a new entity.
Galicia , Bukovina were Ruthenia .
