Just wanted to add to the information provided by Mimi and Christian about this year's cemetery project. If you are in the U.S. or know someone there who might be interested look at the Volunteers for Peace website,www.vfp.org
Volunteers for Peace is the United States counterpart to SVIT in Ukraine. They are part of a large consortium of organizations sponsoring volunteer projects all over the world. You register, for a small fee, through the organization in your own country. Over 100 countries participate.
I was on the first cemetery project, in 2008. If anyone has any questions about what it was like, feel free to ask me!
