[Cz-L] Still Lifes at the Synagogue of Siret

Thank you first of all for your positive feedback. I have to admit, that my posting on the Synagogue of Siret

was focussed on the mood inspired by the interior of synagogue and wasn't really informative. Therefore two additional comments on your questions:

Sylvie, no, there is no more any Jew living in Siret. The last one was Samy Kurtzberg, whom I met in July 2008, but who unfortunately deceased in the meantime.

Ken, no, it's not a museum (yet), it's just the status quo before an intended internal renovation, BUT I'm afraid, that conserving the actual condition would be the preferable option, due to the inexpertness of the local authorities.
