I also know very little, I was 9 years old when we left Czernowitz. I remember my parents speaking about Dr. Loguleac, but I was not interested.
I also know that he send us money when we were in Transnistria.
I also remember that my father invited his wife to come to Israel.
When I was stationed in Germany I used to mail her medicine. She lived in Cluj with relatives.
I had to stop mailing her medicine after I was transferred to Leningrad, USSR.
I also remember that after we returned from Transnistria my father went over to the garage where he found that the place was taken over by the NKVD. There he was recognized by his previous workers, and was offered to run the place, he became the NAZIALNIK. He worked for food, after school I would go over to the canteen for lunch, that was my only real meal.
In 1945, when we left Czernowitz for Romania a truck from the NKVD took us to the border.
In 1988, I visited Storojinets looking for the house of my grandparents, I found an old man who remembered my grandparents, my father and Dr. Longuleac.
