this is not directly related to Czernowitz, but is touching everyone
soul to was born in places where synagogues were destroyed, Jewish
cemeteries abandoned, and dark recollections persist even today

There is documentary movie called "Hiding and Seeking" by an orthodox
director, Menachem Daum.
The Tablet Magazine (absolutely the best Jewish liberal Magazine on
Line) had an article about it from 2004

It is a must see, as deals with dilemma and how to observant Jews and
