They flattened the old cemetery built on it an "industrial complex". Nobody
knows where the gravestones disappeared except those that served to build
the steps to the Tuerkenbrunnen. In Suczawa which was the second biggest
town you can still find the old cemetery (although very much overgrown) that
was closed approximately when the one in Czernowitz was closed.
