Many manholes in old Czernowitz were not closed safely.
With the not illuminated streets you fell in and injured your leg.
No more.
The covers today are also not always safe as you see.
But if you fall in , the street is illuminated, you can see where you
are
and try to get out.
Not as before you may also get first aid.
So watch your step.
