Hi all,=0AI am a new member to the listserve. I joined because=A0I recently=
 discovered that =0Amy great grandfather,=A0Adolf Prusmak (alternate spelli=
ng, Prusmark), who I always =0Athought was from=A0Iasi, Romania, was in fac=
t from Czernowitz (possibly Sadagora). =0AHe married a woman from Iasi, Sar=
ah Latiner,=A0and had 7 children born in Iasi. =0AAdolf was born around 186=
1 and moved his family from Iasi to New York in =0A1900/1901. I hope listse=
rve members might help me find out more about him and =0Ahis family in Czer=
nowitz and his connections with Iasi. I have a portion of his =0Apassport, =
which I also hope listserve members might help translate. I will post =0Ath=
at on ViewMate.=0A=0AInterestingly, the very first post I read ( a few days=
 ago) was from another new =0Amember who mentioned the name of her grandmot=
her, whose maiden name was the same =0Aas the married name of my great-grea=
t aunt. We corresponded, and I now know =0Aanother cousin.=A0=0A=0A=A0Richa=
