Kossovo was a quite separate issue, though mainly populated by Albanians it
has a site of great historical significance to the Serbs...it was the site
of a major destruction of a Serb Army by the Turks. Cornel

When artificial federations are made the dominant nation settles
everywhere in the realm.
When breaking up they dont go home . They lived there for many years.
Also religion differences. Kossovo was the main issue.
   Serbs and Albanians.
Something similar to the Transnistria breakaway from Moldova.
