Just amazing, that sounds great to me! You are definitely right, Vera Hacken was an extremely talented person. Her book "Kinder- und Jugendjahre mit Elieser Steinbarg"
http://www.czernowitz.de/95/Vera%20Hacken.%20Kinder-%20und%20Jugendjahre%20mit%20Elieser%20Steinbarg-0.html
is a real treasure chest concerning the cultural life in Czernowitz at the beginning of the 20th Century. Which language did Vera Hacken use for these letters? Would you consider releasing those letters at our Ehpes.com Blog? I'm positive, that Othmar Andreée, the owner of http://www.czernowitz.de/ and publisher of the German version of Vera Hacken's above mentioned book would be very interested too.
Warmest wishes, actually from the German North Sea coast, with very limited Internet access!
