Dear Arthur,

Thank you for your report on your visit to Czernowitz.

I would like to comment on a the various issues you wrote about.
Traveling to Czernowitz: In recent years I have found that
the most convenient way, is to fly to Czernowitz by Carpatair.
They have direct flights to Czernowitz and back from Timisoara.
It is possible to get to Timisoara from Munich, Rome, Berlin
and other major airports.

The SVIT Ukraine volunteers always come from many different countries,
are intelligent, hardworking, interested and interesting young people.

As to stone masons in Czernowitz: I have had a mason recommended
by Dr. Bursuk repair some headstones for me, as well as for other
members
of this list. He did a very good job and was not expensive.
His name is Vasilyi, but I have neither his surname or his Email
address.
I will try to get it from Dr. Bursuk.
