Czernowitzers...

All the photos from Edgar's 2012 trip are now available on our website
in the 'Cemeteries, Monuments & Towns' section:

http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/czernowitz11/cemsplash.html

The new additons:

Baia (both the cemetery and the shul are in excellent shape -- who did
the work?)

Braila (most sections seem pretty well cared for, again, who did the
work?)

Czernowitz V (the 2012 ASF cemetery workcamp)

Czernowitz Back Yards (if you haven't seen this already, don't miss it)

Hliboka (another cemetery that has been more or less cared for)

Iasi II (cemetery photos includes Jewish soldiers' graves photos from
1917)

Radautz Shul (the re-opening on July 25th 2012 -- excellent set of
photos)

Siret Shul (dusty, dusty -- needs love and attention)

Vatra Dornei II (the cemetery and the shul... a miniature of the Cz.
temple? Some interesting design similarities)

Vama II (need to send in the goats -- things looked better in 2009)

What other towns/cemeteries are of interest that we don't have? Maybe we
can petition the intrepid Edgar to include a visit to some of these next
year?

Now, are there any more photos of the 2012 workcamps out there? If you
know where they are, can you send me the links or the photos? I would
like to include them in the 'Czernowitz Jewish Cemetery' section:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/newcemetery/index.html

Best,
jerome
