[Cz-L] Accessing the Czernowitz City Directories

Czernowitzers...

If you tried to access the city directories from Edgar's Blog site and
could not, the problem may be this:

You need Microsoft Excel or an Excel compatible spreadsheet programme
installed on your computer to view them on Edgar's site.

However, on Ehpes, we have converted the original spreadsheets so that
they are readable directly from any web browser you may be using. They
have been there for several years.

Here's how to get to them:

>From the Menu at: http://czernowitz.ehpes.com Click on 'Ehpes
Databases'. then scroll down and click on 'City and Business
Directories'.

or, if you're lazy:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/new/hauster/dir.html

Either way, you will notice two links for each directory; you will want
the first link, not the xls version. They are large files and may take a
while to load depending on your internet connexion.
