Hardy, you are correct! I must have been half asleep last night! The General
was Vlassov but the remains of his units were called Banderovtsi after
Stepan Bandera,a politician who cooperated with the Germans,was later
arrested by them and eventually released on the basis that he would help to
oppose the Russians. Cornel
