Hello! to Czernowitz -maps fans.( I answer my questions by myself (?)
I've found out about the mysterious 'Ringoefen'! They were ring-kilns for
the production of bricks.
Those were big structures which surely made an impact on the Czernowitzer
landscape.
Are those buildings depicted on old postcards?
May be they are mentioned in Mr. Brascanu's book about the Railway ? On the
map you can see that the ring-kilns are placed near the railroad.
