The Council were going to organise it all and charge a nominal fee per
stone....but then it all seemed to disappear into smoke. One day they may

Thanks for your email. I'd be very interested in laying a stone in
Chernivtsi. Has anyone done this? I know there was some discussion
about this in 2009 through this email list - Miriam Taylor suggested
that all interested persons could put their name on a request document
to be submitted to the town council. Does anyone know if anything came
of this idea?
