In the old time photographing was a complicated matter.
 And expensyve too .
  Not everything was left to nature.
 After the taking of the picture on a glass plate the
size of the post cart (no enlargement) the negative
 underwent a touch- up process (Retouchieren).
  The touch- up man was an artist who could put glitter
  to your eyes , straighten teeth, remove moles and
   change your personality, shorten your nose and
   remodel flaring ears.
    For an extra he could remake yor hair-do .
     And the result was astonishing.
