Only in Czernowitz names - or so I believe :
  Burschi, Dolfi, Salo , Schnuky and Igo.

This is to my friend Igo Nussbaum who lived on Russischegasse 52
 Deported to Transnistria and never came back:

Similarly, My grandfather's name was Leo but my grandmother called him Soniu
or Zoniu or perhaps Zuniu? He was born in suceava but resided in Czernowitz.
Can someone tell me what that means?
