the Groisse Shil is still a carpenter's workshop. I do not know who is the legal owner. Every year I go there with the volunteers. If you ask at the office if it's possible to visit the building, the secretary will tell you the boss has to decide, but the boss is absent. If you ask the workers at the entrance at the back side of the building they will ask you to come in and - if they have time - will show and explain everything. Once I offered the foreman a tip for letting us in and beeing nice to us. He rejected it, even beeing a bit insulted, saying the building was once a synagougue, a house of god. Czernowitz.
