While we are discussing the merits and faults of Czernowitzers,
I have received the following news from Chernivtsi:
1. The Jewish Museum in the former Judisches Haus has been given
    another room on the ground floor, so it can expand.
2. Chanukah was celebrated in Chernivtsi a few days ago,
    with the lighting of a Menorah on the central square (Ringplatz),
    the governor of the province or the county participated and
    many people were present.

The not so good news is that it is very cold and they have already had
heavy snow.
