When I went to the Roxy it was to See Tom Mix or Zorro
or The Black Eagle or other Wild Westerners.
There were no carpets on the floor but there was always a thick layer
of shells of pumpkin seeds on it. Everybody in the place was "knacking
Kerne"
and because of the stressful scenes did not bother to collect the shells.
The Roxy in the late 1930th at least had a wonderful soft floor covering.
