This is news to me, and very interesting. I would be interested to know how
you know that the name was changed; and also, if you know what the name of
the school was before 1934.

I would call Dr Balan the headmistress rather than the manager (or is
manager an American expression for this?).

Does anyone know if Dr Balan appears in any of the photographs? Hedwig, you
might know?

Just a note to tell/remind you that in 1934, the name of the LF2 high school
was changed to the "Liceul Oltea Doamna ('LOD')." (The manager of the school
was Dr. Silvia Balan).
I'm hoping that someone can tell me what the name of the school was with
regards to the top three group photos on the page

(that Karl went to).
If you think that a certain Cz'er can help me identify some of those in the
photos, and you don't think they will quickly view these photos for whatever
reason, perhaps you can email them privately to speed up the process of
identification.
