Re: [Cz-L] Note on LF2

I loaded up a series of class pictures of my mother, shulamit mita Rennert (born 1921) who studied in this school until graduation and is in the 1934 picture for example (and maybe in more - I didn't have time to go over all). Many of the graduates were in Israel and they used to meet periodically (I should have pictures from these meetings too). Unfortunately there aren't that many left from this class to ask, inclding my mother that passed away a year and a half ago at 90.
I can try and contact one of her class mates (Ada Booksbaum) from Haifa to see if she can add information

I would have no way of knowing that the school changed names, except for one
of our group (or another Czernowitzer) telling me so. I can't remember who
told me this. Perhaps that person, if they are on our list, will identify
themselves. Otherwise, I couldn't tell you.

I am also still waiting to see if someone can identify the school associated
with the top three class photos on the page in question that Karl attended
(see my previous posts).

This is news to me, and very interesting. I would be interested to know how

you know that the name was changed; and also, if you know what the name of
the school was before 1934.

I would call Dr Balan the headmistress rather than the manager (or is
manager an American expression for this?).

Does anyone know if Dr Balan appears in any of the photographs? Hedwig, you

might know?
