RE: [Cz-L] Kazakhstan

Dear Ilana
According to my friend (in Russia) most (if not all) ethnic Russians left Kazakhstan following the separation from Russia. The only way to get there is through Moscow. She is not sure if there are direct flights from Moscow but this information is available on the Internet. It is close to the two big Russian cities with airports - Novosibirsk and Omsk.
I would be surprised if there are official cemeteries for the victims of Gulag.
Should you need help with translation or even help you to communicate with the local (over there) I'll be happy to help you. I am only 25 min. away from you.
