If a consensus exists, I would be glad to work with others to try to
accomplish this.

Maybe we shall try to propose, initiate that the 21 of March should be
the formal day of Transnistria.
Why March 21? On this day in 1944 the Red Army liberated Murafa,
Shargorod and a few more "colonies". If my memory is right, next day
they conquered Mogilew. Practically during 5-6 days around the 21 March
all of Transnistria was free of Rumanian and German army.
It is also a symbolic day - the beginning of Spring.
The big problem is how to convince "the world" to accept such an idea.
Any how I think that a meeting of our group in Transnistria next spring
with at least some survivors still alive would certainly be a nice idea.

Very tricky:
Liberation of Transnistria is the most significant feat but it
has no fixed date and was done as the front advanced in spring of 1944.
Ghetto establishment day was October 11 but was not the most
significant day of the end of our jewish Czernowitz.

Is there any one specific date of an event, perhaps liberation from
Transitria which could be used to honor the survivors and memorialize
those who died in the Shoah from Czernowitz. If we could find a specific
date, perhaps an annual group gathering there could be initiated. An
idea from the second generation
