Is Sylvia Segenreich not the mother of Ben Segenreich, the Israelian TV
reporter for Sat.3?
He was at one of my lectures in T.A. and he gave me the tel.nr of his
mother, to call her. next, when I had a lecture in Vienna,about my book "My
old Czernowitz ,I called her and she came, a very intelligent, nice person.
She thanked me on the end, with tears in her eyes... I am very sorry, that
she is ill...

Dear all,
We know fairly well Sylvia Segenreich, neé Engler, my mother knew her in
Czernowitz, we met her in later years in Vienna. Indeed, her brother was
shot, it was a lifetime tragedy for the family. She always impressed us
with her lively mind, and good sense of humour.
I just heard from another friend in Vienna that Sylvia is very ill, now
in intensive care, and that her state is critical.
