But please do not put the Wiznitzers in the same class as the
Sadagerers.
The Wiznitzer Rebeh was a very honest and decent man and did not perform
"miracles" or amass fortunes.
My great-grandparents moved to Czernowitz on the advice of the Wiznitzer
and even though they later returned to Maramures, my grandfather
remained.
Thus I was born in Czernowitz and for this alone, I am grateful to
the Wiznitzer.
A correction: For those who may remember my maternal grandmother:
It was my paternal grandmother who went to the Sadagerer,
not my maternal grandmother.
