To get Romanian citizenship you had to prove that you had lived
in the Bucovina before it was annexed by Romania.
If you had been counted in the last census before the annexation,
this was proof enough.

I have the document which proves that my maternal grandparents
and their older two children, but not the two younger ones,
had been living in Czernowitz in 1910.
