[Cz-L] did any of you know this person?

Dear All

Years ago when I first started traveling east of the Berlin Wall to work
on my long term photo project, titled "Return," I posted something about it
in my High School (of Music & Art) newsletter, saying I was planning to
eventually reach my native city CZ. Sometime later I received a letter from
a fellow alum named Audrey Roll - she said, "my father Leon Jacob Roll came
from your town, which he declared was located at the foothills of the
Carpathian mountains....."

Audrey and I carried on a loose correspondence for a time & have since lost
touch with each other. Her story as all of ours spans countries and
continents and adventurous tales...she is a painter of western art. I'm
sure we'll bump into each other again.

Is anyone familiar with that family?
