Dear Anny,

I watched last night the documentary "Drancy 1941-1944"

I can imagine how hard this evening was for you .

For those who wish to have a look at the first part you can use this link.

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xu1bfp_drancy-1941-1944-un-camp-aux-portes-de-paris-1_webcam

It is a French production . We saw it with Hebrew translation.

Interesting to tell you that today at 22:00 at the same TV1 -channel I
watched a beautiful documentary with and about the Israeli artist David
Bergmann .

He was 9 years old when the Germans marched into Paris. He lost his mother.
He told us about Paris and (not much) about his childhood in those days.

I am so sorry for your stepbrother...

Best wishes,

Irene

So, I am looking for my stepbrother's last years. He was an Icon for me and
all I know is that he died in Auschwitz APRIL!! 1945!!! another week and he
would be alive??!! I don't cry any longer, there is too much suffering and
we live on a "time bomb" all the time.

Yesterday they showed the French deportation from Darcy and I was looking
and searching in vain for ONE face only milling about the camp.
Tears in my eyes. 68 years!!! I just can't forget. I light a memorial candle
think and in my dreams -which I sometimes have- he stretches his hand out to
me and asks me, I never know what for.
