Dear Gabriele and Eduard,

Thank you for sending these photographs to the ehpes.com blog
On the photograph of the first kindergarten in Czernowitz it says
that the kindergarten was founded by the Poalei Zion organization.
My maternal grandfather Shaul Leib Steinmetz was the founder
of this organization in Czernowitz.

If any members of the list find photographs related to the Poalei Zion
or the weekly Yiddish newspaper "Die Yiddische Arbeiter Zeitung",
I would greatly appreciate your letting me know.
