But amazingly enough...Christian and Co are finding Jewish communities,a
Jewish hotel,the remnants of the once very big Karaite Jewish
community....etc etc! I am impressed!! Cornel

Vanished World is the title on the Blog machine.
But the world hasnt vanished . The Jews have.
  Some, who died long ago, have stones.
   Some stones are smashed , painted with swastikas and SS .
   To remind us that the sentiment is still here.
     Near some other stones sheep and goats graze peacefully.
      Many graves have no stones.
      Many stones have no graves.
       Some living Jews are also there .
       Left behind or returned to their homes.
        Not too many.
         Visitors come to memorize tombs if they can trace them.
           Not a happy land for Jews.
        A lot to contemplate between pothole and pothole on the way.
        The same potholes that held up the Wehrmacht on the
       race to Moscow in winter of 1941.
             Long live the potholes !
