Yes, Hardy is right, Edinetz or Edineti is in Besarabia.
During WW2 there was a transit camp for deported Jews in or near Edineti
in which many people died. In Czernowitz before the war,
we referred to Yedinetz as if it was the end of the world,
but Besarabian Yiddish is almost identical to Bukowina Yiddish.
