Hi: I honestly don't know if we are related but do remember in my
childhood that my Czernowitz-born father, Dr. Charles (Karl) Wolfe Steinhauser,
introduced me to his Czernowitz-born uncle, Louis Gottlieb and Louis's sons,
Sammy and Peter. That was in New York City where they had emigrated.at
least 65 years ago. I actually recall the Gottlieb family had a large yarn
and fabric business and presented my mother with several skeins of chenille
and wool yarn from which she knitted caps and scarves for my sister,
brother and me.
    I am not certain whether they were related to us through the
Steinhauser (Grandpa's) or the Sturm (Bobba's) family, but I actually remember
what Louis looked like. Unfortunately, I could not access your photo of Karl
Henry Gottlieb, so please resend it. .
