Czernowitzers...
It's amazing, that more and more blogs and websites are focussing on the Jewish heritage in Eastern Europe. That reflects the growing interest for this subject and a kind of Jewish revival in changed circumstances. No, it's not any more Roman Vishniak's Jewish Shtetl, it's not the the Jewish urban way of life in Czernowitz or Lemberg, but it's something new, a delicate little plant.
Let's take for instance the news on "Jewish Heritage Europe" for the last ten days and you'll discover reports on activities of at least four of our fellow members:
Julie Dawson (Siret Signage): http://bit.ly/13uSfnD
Kate Power (ASF Summer Camp): http://bit.ly/10VgYMy
Christian Hermann (Travel Log): http://bit.ly/11JMvc6
Sylvia de Swaan (Photography Workshop): http://bit.ly/10L64t1
Where are you going to find the news? Here, just one click away, at your Czernowitz-L Discussion group! Enjoy the reports and let's take an proactive interest in this movement!
