Thanks for your solution. I thought that such a long tale could not be included in a normal message to the group and sent it as an attachment. I was advised by the moderator that this was impossible, and that I should contact you. Meanwhile you just preceded my message to you and included the contents in a normal message.

I do not know how many of surviving Czernowitzers had relatives drafted in the Red-Army in the course of that fateful April, and how many of those are in our group - but I wrote this for those who may be in it, and may perhaps be caught in a similar tragic position of not knowing the fate of their dear ones.

Perhaps also these few tales I wrote up on Hardy's request will trigger memories in some other members to recall and send us their tales.
