Referring to the Palestine-Rumania Chamber of Commerce (in the 1930ies)
mentioned in this article. A Jewish owned egg trading firm from Edinburgh,
Scotland built in Novoselitsa a modern (for the late 1920ties) poultry
processing plant - "Paserrea" - of which most of the produce went to export
with a special kosher line intended for Palestine. King Carol's mother
(Marie of Edinburgh - granddaughter of Queen Victoria and Zar Alexander 2)
had a hand in establishing this project.
