Very bad.
This is how the Jews are remembered ?
This is where our visionaries see a place for Jewish revival ?
Nobody is sorry , and they dont say all on their mind.
You dont usually when interviewed.
Very bad.

Subject: [Cz-L] Berezhany: My City, My Pride - A Parallel Case
Czernowitzers...
It's Marla Raucher Osborn, a friend of mine, who drew my attention to the
Video clip "Berezhany: My City, My Pride", brought to us by Jeremy Borovitz.
In Berezhany, a town in the Ternopil region of Western Ukraine, a group of
local students discover their history. Well, this short video clip (14:07)
provoked a controversial debate among the members of the Rohatyn Shtetl
Research Group on the conception of Holocaust history, quite very similar to
those, which we are conducting within our group from time to time.
Therefore, as a parallel case, I've embedded the video at our ehpes.com Blog
http://ehpes.com/blog1/2013/07/04/berezhany-my-city-my-pride/
adding Jeremy's most insightful statement on this film, to which I'm
subscribing word by word and which is very much in line with my own
experiences in Western Ukraine. One more reason to share with you this film,
is the ongoing project of the Museum of the History and Culture of
Bukovinian Jews, "which aims the creation of educational material about the
Holocaust in the region around Chernivtsi".
Thank you Marla, thank you Jeremy, for sharing and for your outstanding
engagement!
