Dear list members,

A a new member of the list, I was particularly interested in the film

and I wish I had time to help translating... maybe a small part only?

I am just beginning to look for information about my father,

Hermann Schimmer who was born in Czernowitz in 1920, left for France

in 1937 and who died 2 years ago, without telling me what could help me

to go and find out more about his childhood. If anybody can help it would b=
e great.

I am planning to go to Czernowitz as soon as I have gathered more informati=
on.

Watching the documentary has obviously given new momentum to my plans

and I suppose I am not the only one to have felt that way.
