Re: [Cz-L] Recently discovered Wall Paintings in the “Groisse Shil”

It is possible to achieve things in Czernowitz. It requires a lot of
time
and effort. But we should do something to preserve these wall paintings.
Either the Israeli government or the US commission on Americans'
Heritage abroad,
or preferably both bodies should get involved and save these paintings
before they are obliterated. Are there any general European
organizations
which try to preserve European art?

Will some of the members of this list please volunteer to spearhead this
important task?

Would someone write an article for a newspaper or a journal about this?
Not necessarily a Jewish oriented one, but including such as well.
Preferably such an article could be published in various languages.
The Chernivtsi city authorities, or province authorities should be
made aware
of the possible tourist attraction these paintings would be.

If we do not do it, who will?
And if not now, later will be too late.
