[Cz-L] Sandber / Sandberg

Hello,

Seeking information on:

Samuel Abraham SANDBER, born 8 Oct 1883 in Czernowitz, Bukowina emigrated to US in 1940, having lived in Berlin for some time before. his wife Jennie (nee Rosenfeld) and son Erwin emigrated in 1939 and 1936 respectively (they were both born in Vienna).

listed on records as Hebrew. after death of Erwin, family found photo of Samuel wearing what appears to be a swastika.

any info / explanations / hints / connections to other Sandber(g) would be welcome.
