Aside from the fact that he did not particularly loved the Jews, Stalin needed our  apartments and our  jobs for his compatriots.

In 1945 Stalin let the Jews out.
Why did he do it ? We don't know.
We didn't ask questions.
  Everyday we checked the lists on the
    Komandatura for our names .
     And one day - Bingo...
      We are free to go...
     And then it started :
    To Rumania , Hungary and Austria ,
     Italy , Germany and France,
      Britain , America and Cuba,
         Mexico, Canada ,Australia
        Argentina ,Uruguay and Chile...
      A Czerno- here, a -witzer there,
       We Czernowitzer settle everywhere....  Hardy
