[Cz-L] Datebase from c.herbst_at_voila.fr on 2013-08-27 (The Czernowitz-L Archive)

Bonjour =C3=A0 tous

In preparation for my next visit to Czernowitz at the end of September, I t=
ry to find informations I had read in JewishGen about two years ago and I c=
an no longer find again.It was differents datebases about the city of Czern=
owitz.If I rememberwell: there were various old telephone directories. J 'h=
ad also found the birth certificate of my father born in 1909 and his broth=
er born in 1922.which is the Sig which depends Czernowitz? Romania? Ukraine=
?
Who could help me?.
If I look for these documents is because I want to find where my father and=
my great parents have lived.I would just walk along the streets where they=
have walked( i feel that is very bad english!!!).Watch(or look?) the build=
ings where they have lived.Only......
My grandfather Mendel / Emil Herbst was a professor of mathematics but I do=
not know where.J have his booklet student at the University of C, but no i=
nformation about the schools where he has worked.
