[Cz-L] One has to imagine Sisyphus as a happy man

Dear all,

the summer camp of Action Reconciliation Service for Peace just started and our Mimi is there. A good reason to have a look back on this summer:

"Die Stimme" (The Voice) - the magazine of the World Organization of Bukovinian Jews - asked me to write about this year's work-camp of SVIT Ukraine to clean the Jewish cemetery of Czernowitz. So I did. The article is now available in an English translation on my blog Vanished World.
Since six years volunteers from all over the world work in the Jewish cemetery of Chernivtsi (Czernowitz). What do they experience and what is the progress in cleaning the cemetery from rampant vegetation?
