Dear all,

Apropos hotels in Czernowitz, FYI, a good friend of ours - a Czernowitzer born lady, visited the town some months ago, and reported very favourably on a small hotel named "Magnat Lux", situated favourably on 6 Sheptytskogo (Landhausgasse), close to Holovna (Hauptstrasse), i.e. close to the Ringplatz. You may look it up on the internet. It is new, not a big one - but very comfortable rooms, quite satisfactory breakfast, a coffee-shop, and a very pleasant and helpful staff.
She stayed only a few days.
They have another hotel - Magnat - closer to the railway station, but that is apparently of lower standard, so do not confuse.
