You are completely right , Cornel.
  But I refer to a book by Albert Londres , a French journalist who
wrote a book called "The wandering Jew has arrived" in 1930.

 He also visited Czernowitz Uhrmachergasse where people came from afar to
repair their watches by the famous Jewish watchmakers.
   He called the Karpat Russ Jews - mountain Jews.
  The Kaukas Jews were not on his agenda.
   Londres died accidentaly in 1932.
    BTW - Book is very good read.
