Bringing in the Arab conflict in not very good idea.
  Better we concentrate on Bukovina childhood, war and ghetto =
deportation
   and late cemetery deforestation.
   This will keep us busy and if we help find a lost family member or
    a new gastronomic marvel as a fringe benefit - the better.

  What can I say - regretfully - Hardy is right. But, regrettably, we =
are not so wonderful a people - at least in this respect: here, in =
Israel, we have quite neglected most religious or semi-religious =
remnants of Arab origin mainly cemeteries and mosques that were left =
after the inhabitants of the towns and villages fled, or in some cases =
were expelled, in the course of the War of Independence that was forced =
upon us, by the local Palestinians and 5 surrounding Arab countries =
(Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Yraq), who sent in their armies in 1948 =
to through us into the Mediterranean.
  Yes, we have an excuse, we were not the cause for their leaving or =
being expelled - they started it and we defended ourselves, but still, =
this is something that we cannot be proud offf.
