Anny ,
I dont think Christian and Edgar met at their cemetery fact- finding tours.
  So they couldn't have been shocked at the same time.
   Each of them was shocked independently.
     For much the same reasons.
    I agree that it is not nice what goes on Galician Jewish cemeteries.
     But life there is also not a picnic.
       Which does not justify anything.
         Just a remark.
