Hi Edgar,
Thanks for writing! I am Fred's oldest daughter Lisa and accompanied him to Czernowitz for the 2006 reunion trip with my family, and since then have been a largely silent member of the listserv, but reading with great pleasure and interest about all the return trips to Ukraine.
I will take this opportunity to say to the group that was particularly interested in the recent posts about the Berezhany cemetery and the beautiful fall photos, since I had a similar experience visiting there as part of the 2006 trip, and found the people very welcoming to us, in particular my husband Michael's aunt and his cousins who live there.
My father's email is andermannf_at_qc.aibn.com and this is a better way to reach him than the listserv as he is not really on the computer much...
He is living in Montreal and would be very pleased to hear from you about any Czernowitz-related things.
All the best,
Lisa

Czernowitzers...
On behalf of Dr. habil. Mariana Hausleitner, the prominent historian, author of "Die Rumänisierung der Bukowina" and many other basic works, I'd like to ask you for the mail address of
Frederick Andermann
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Andermann
a Canadian neurologist, born in Czernowitz on September 26, 1930. Is there anybody out there, who has got by chance Frederick's mail address, or - even better - are you, dear Frederick, perhaps member of our silent majority? Please contact me privately and thank you in advance!
