[Cz-L] Cemetery circuit

Lately we encounter a trend among the young and devoted of our list
members , the able ,the involved and the curious.
  The motto is : Go east young man and see for yourself .
   No story , book or pictures will do.
     Go there , see it , talk with people , feel it.
       The old Jewish Eastern ouposts of Galicia and Bukovina.
    There are many more but these are home turf for most of us.
      The Jews are almost gone now.
        The synagogues too.
          The cemeteries are there , but the stones not all of them.
            This is a good time to have a look.
        The Habsburg Jewish enclave .
         Dont take pictures of leaning gravestones or of empty spaces or
         of garbage piles or goats grazing .
           There is nothing we can do except being sad.
            And sad we are anyway.
